Home Efficiency Rebates (HOMES)

There are HOMES Rebates from the state of Wisconsin as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. To be eligible for these rebates, you’ll need to get a home energy assessment first. Home energy assessments are a great first step because they provide crucial measurements that identify what areas of your home can be more energy-efficient.

We recommend hiring a third party for your home energy audit that way the insulation contractor has checks & balances. If an insulation contractor checks their own work … it’d be easy to take advantage of unsuspecting homeowners. This is why we will ALWAYS connect you with an outside auditor who is not on our staff, so you can trust that the results are accurate and not biased.

These rebates are available for home improvements such as insulation that will make your home more energy-efficient. The amount of the rebate depends on your household’s income and the predicted energy savings.

You may be eligible for retroactive rebates if you’ve had an energy assessment and energy-efficient work completed on or after August 16, 2022.

Focus on Energy Incentives

The Focus on Energy Program offers rebate incentives to help homeowners with the cost of their energy-related home improvements. As an approved Trade Ally contractor, S & E Insulation, a division of Allrite Home & Remodeling, can help you save up on eligible air sealing and insulation projects.

Homeowners can combine Focus on Energy rebates with the HOMES rebates to help pay for home energy improvements.

Federal Tax Credit

Plus, homeowners who improve their home’s energy efficiency may be eligible for a Federal Tax Credit of $1,200 for insulation and air sealing projects.

Act now!

These are some of the best incentives and rebates we’ve seen in years! Enjoy a home that is more comfortable, more secure from the elements AND more energy efficient.
